In this section, you can read more about our active theatre members that are working on the newest production 'Extreme' and the upcoming tour in March and April 2023.

Simona Vrabcová

Founder, Manager & Actress

Simona joined the former amateur theatre group in 2015 and helped to establish a professional company in 2017. Simona is the current artistic director of the company and also looks after management, where she applies her knowledge from her BA in Music Business and Arts Management at Middlesex University in London. She is now teaching as a visiting lecturer on the same course. She performed in all our author-written devised productions: Migrants‘ Rhapsody, Academy for Women, Mum, what did you want?  and Extreme [the new norm]. Her acting skills were mainly shaped during her studies at the Private Conservatoire in Nitra and at youth drama and dance companies in Slovakia. Apart from performing in theatres from the age of 4, she portrayed roles in films, TV shows and commercials for UK and International productions. Simona also plays the piano and sings. She has graduated with MSc in Innovation Management  & Entrepreneurship and continues her academic career at the University of Warwick doing PhD in Cultural Policy Studies. She actively combines her passion for culture and arts with research throughout her professional career. Her research interests are cultural management, creative entrepreneurship, cultural diplomacy and country branding.

Zuzana Strnátová

Director

Zuzana joined our theatre in 2022 as the director of our newest play Extreme [the new norm¨. She studied directing and dramaturgy at the Department of Puppetry of the Theatre Faculty at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia. She is the founder of the Junk Theater (Divadlo Veteš) in Bratislava, where she embodies her theatrical visions. In addition to directing collaborations with major and independent theatres, she composes original music for theatre and performances for children. Zuzana also teaches drama classes at art schools, where she leads children and young people towards a passion for theatre and film. Her creative direction is inspired by various styles, which, however, always express a personal and honest statement, reflecting current topics. Zuzana was invited to the new project by our manager Simona whom she met at youth drama groups in Slovakia, where they created theatre plays together as teenagers. Years later it is once again the passion for collaborative creative work that reunited them.

Simona Gibejová

Actress

 

Simona joined the theatre in 2020 and was cast in the play Elections which was cancelled due to a sudden pandemic. Her first appearance is in our new production. She has gained extensive acting and music training at The Private Conservatoire of Dezider Kardoš in Prešov, Slovakia. She took part in the workshops focused on Comedia del Arte and Puppetry. Simona moved to London as a 19-year graduate to pursue her acting career, and since then she has appeared in a number of film and TV productions. Her film credits include lead roles as 'Mother Nature' in 'L'effet Humain' (2021), 'Her' in 'Sheltered'(2021), 'Daughter' in 'Daughter' (2021), 'Venus' in 'Polyamory' (2020). Her theatre credits include 'The Fox' in 'The Little Prince' (2019), 'Dead Woman' in 'La Valse du Hasard' (2019), 'A Dog' in 'Dog's World' (2018). Simona is also a solo performer who creates and directs her own short movies and videos. She plays the piano and sings. However, her creativity goes beyond theatre, Simona also creates designs for clothes and accessories which she sells under her brand SimonettArt.

Katarína Martin

Actress

 

Katarína joined our cast in 2021 to perform in our upcoming production. Her acting journey started when she moved to London 11 years ago. She trained as an actress at the Drama Studio London. Since then, she predominantly played in film and TV shows including well-known productions. Her credits include Sonja /Crown S4, Dylan's girlfriend/, Cuckoo S3, Hazel George/ Life of Walt Disney, Rosa/ short film, I love you because I love you, Reporter/Deceit, featured role Countess/ The Great, Swinnerton lady/ Grantchester S7, doubling role in Marvel movie. In her free time, she writes short scripts for movies and now also for our plays. 

Fun fact:  Katarína has an international origin, being born in Slovakia with Italian, Balkan, Scandinavian and Russian roots.

Jana Zordan

Choreographer

 

Jana joined the theatre crew as a choreographer in May 2015 and she is currently working as the movement director on the upcoming show. In 2018, she directed and choreographed the production 'Mum, what did you want?'. Previously, she designed and rehearsed choreographies for shadow parts and the Strip Song in the 'Academy of Women'. Jana also choreographed the 'Rap Song, Loneliness, The Chance and I believe I can fly' parts in the STL production 'Migrants' Rhapsody'.  She is the movement director in the latest product Extreme [the new norm]. Jana graduated from the prestigious Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with MA in Physical Theatre. She was a choreographer and a co-director of many international projects within Contemporary Circus. She taught and performed in Japan, Turkey, France and Italy among others.

Rebeka Jurčacková

Actress & Co-manager

Rebeka is the latest addition to our cast, she joined in June 2022 and since then also started helping with the management and digital content creation. She is an actress, model and historical re-enactor. Apart from acting, she enjoys creating digital content, filming and video editing. She graduated from the Performing Arts Programme at The University of Winchester in 2020 with First Class Honours. Most recently, in 2022, she successfully completed the advanced acting course at The Unseen drama school in London under the leadership of the director and screenwriter Arjun Rose. She has also completed the Breakthrough into Acting course at the National Youth Film Academy (NYFA) in London, which she is now a member of. Rebeka has experience in both acting for screen and live - open-air immersive theatre performances. One of her great passions is history, especially the era of the renaissance, she is a member of FRINGIA - Society for the restoration and reconstruction of historical martial arts and dances, and actively participates in various film productions and documentaries such as “Jako letní sníh”, recently nominated for Movie Guide Awards in Hollywood. She was also a supporting artist in multiple productions like Netflix's series Van Helsing. She is creative, unstoppable and versatile - a passionate artist, a storyteller, who pays attention to detail and is always ready to take centre stage!

Dalibor Buranda

Actor

 

Dalibor Buranda joined the theatre in 2020 and was cast in the play Elections which was cancelled due to a sudden pandemic. His first appearance is in our newest production. Dalibor graduated from the London College of Music with BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Before moving to the UK, he also studied Music and Drama at the Private Conservatoire in Nitra, Slovakia. He has played the lead role of Jesse in "Cyber Heist" directed by Helena Carlsen. He also appeared in the supporting role of Michael in "Crossroads" by Tommaso Frixione and is about to play the role of Nikolay in an upcoming film "Rivals". He played the lead role of Rudi Kruger in 'A History of Violence', King Herod in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and Young Clyde in 'Bonnie & Clyde'. In 2021, Dalibor secured a place at two of the best drama schools in the world - Arts Educational Schools in London, UK and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA, where some of the biggest celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans or Marilyn Monroe trained acting. Dalibor is a very open, easy-going and friendly person who always strives to bring excellence and originality into his work. In his free time, he loves to read, travel, and speak all things Marvel.

Tereza Růžičková

Actress

 

Tereza joined the theatre in 2021 to perform in our upcoming production. She comes from the Czech Republic bringing an international vibe to our theatre. Tereza gained her acting experience in youth drama groups, she performed at the amateur theatre in Hodkovice nad Popelkou HAD, where she performed in plays inspired by Chekhov. Later, she was a cast member of Theatre F.X. Šaldy in Liberec, Czech Republic. Her credits include ‘History of the Party of Modest Progress Within the Law’ (2014), and ‘The End of Old Times’ (2018). She took a part in the summer acting course at The Academy of Dramatic Arts in Prague. Tereza moved to London in 2019 to study BA in Performance and Production. Apart from acting, she is a skilled vocalist being a member of the choir Severáček since 6 years old. Her creative work interests are predominantly modern arts and physical theatre.

Jozef Radovský
Actor

 

Jozef is our newest member, in 2022 he was cast for our play Extreme [the new norm]. After his studies at the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, he moved to London and decided his pathway will turn towards acting. Jozef did his acting training on courses at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with well-established actors. He has recently graduated from the Identity School of Acting the double award-winning drama school based in London and Los Angeles which provides direct casting for its students. Over the past three years, Jozef’s gained more acting experience in international film and TV productions as well as several music videos in the UK. His credits include roles in independent films: Daniel in 'Mama’s Bois', Waiter in 'Bus Girl',  supporting role in 'Sandwich Boy'. He also had supporting and extra roles in Netflix productions such as 'The Crown'.

Sára Šišková

Theatre Designer

 

Sara is a set and costume designer based in London. In 2017, she designed the set for 'Academy for Women' and developed the common idea of costume design. Sara designed the costumes and arranged props for the latest production Extreme [the new norm]. She began her journey as a theatre designer back in Slovakia, studying costume design at a secondary school. She also finished her undergraduate studies at the University of the Arts London focusing on set and costume design. Amongst her projects are the designs for The Corbett Theatre in collaboration with East 15 Acting School, The Place in collaboration with London Contemporary Dance School and the design for a production of 'How to Survive a Swarm of Bees' at The Lyric Hammersmith.

Barbora Sláviková

Former Co-manager

Barbora helped with the management and production of Extreme [the new norm]. She also created the new design of our website. In 2021, Barbora graduated with Master's in Digital Marketing. Her BA in Music Business and Arts Management from Middlesex University kicked off her ambition of working within the arts industry mainly because of her passion for collaboration with artists. Barbora currently works for Tagsmart, a business that provides Certification and DNA tagging for fine art. Outside her daily job, she is collaborating with a photographer and visual artist Olga Suchanova and a young musical talent Nina Kohout. She also co-curated a visual arts project focused on sustainability and climate changes through art practices which in August  2022 at Thames-Side Studios.
