The exhibition opening formed part of a state reception marking the 34th anniversary of Constitution Day and Armed Forces Day of the Slovak Republic. The Embassy of the Slovak Republic hosted the Portraits of Slovak and Czech Britain exhibition as part of the official programme, presenting selected stories, photographs and testimonies from the programme’s archive to invited guests from across the Slovak and Czech communities in the UK, diplomatic partners, funders and supporters.
